Breaking News: AIB reports that Danbaba Suntai was not qualified, certfied to fly Cessna 208B

Today, Accident Investigation Bureau released the report of the crash of Cessna 208B Caravan aircraft with Registration marks 5N-BMJ belonging to the Ministry of Works and Transport, Taraba State Government. The accident occurred on 25th October 2012 at Kwanan-Wava Village, Yola South Local Government Area of Adamawa State. The late Governor and three other passengers were involved in the crash.

AIB revealed that the former Governor of Taraba State, Danbaba Suntai was not certified or qualified to fly the aircraft he commandeered (Cessna Caravan 208B). However, the late Governor was qualified to fly a Cessna 172 aircraft.
