A Boeing 737-700 (NG) aircraft with registration number 5N-MJF belonging to Arik Air arrived Murtala Muhammed Airport, Lagos-Nigeria from maintenance. As a result, some of the suspended routes will be reopened.
The aircraft was one of the four aircraft that left Nigeria for maintenance. The other three are expected to arrive by the end of May, 2019. The aircraft went for a C-check in an MRO (Maintenance, Repair, Overhaul) outside the country.
Arik Air’s CEO, Captain Roy Ilegbodu noted that the best interest of their passengers will always drive the decisions of Arik Air Management. He also emphasized that some of the suspended routes will be reopened and appreciates their customers for their understanding during the scheduled adjustments.
